Mahjong Teacher Training

Learn how to teach American Mahjong with clarity, confidence, and a proven method

Ummmm, why should you trust me as your teaching mentor?

Fair question.

Since 2023, I’ve taught extensively - guiding 1,000+ new students in the past year alone - into confident, joyful Mahjong play.

I’m a Founding Member of the Mahj Life Instructors Guild and have studied instructional methods under Michele Frizzell, one of the most respected authorities in Mahjong education. I was also honored as a 2025 American Mah Jongg Association Favorite Instructor Nominee.

But credentials aside - what matters most is this:

  • I understand beginners deeply.

  • I know where they freeze.

  • I know what overwhelms them.

  • And I know how to move them from confusion to confidence quickly - without intimidation.

I haven’t made anyone cry yet. :-) But I have made many fall in love with the game.

Now I’m here to help you create that same experience.
