CORPORATE MAHJONG · IN PERSON AND ON ZOOM

Team building people actually enjoy.

I teach American mahjong to teams, clients and member communities, at your office, at your retreat on the St. Pete and Clearwater beaches, or on Zoom for teams spread across the country. Everyone learns the game together, then plays it, which turns out to be a very good way to get people talking.

Everyone is talking about mahjong.

Your team, your clients and your partners keep hearing about it. It's the fastest-rising social trend in the country.

The wave isn't coming to Tampa Bay. It's already here. WUSF reported in 2026 that mahjong is growing across the region, with new clubs popping up from Tampa to St. Pete.

How it works.

01

Tell me about the group.

The date, the headcount, the occasion, and whether you're in the room or on Zoom.

02

I build the plan.

Format, timing and how many tables, sent back to you in writing.

03

I run it start to finish.

Teaching, materials and play, run by a master instructor. You get to be a guest at your own event.

Four ways to do it.

Your retreat, one event, a Zoom session, or a program that keeps going.

At your retreat

Bringing your team, clients or partners to a St. Pete or Clearwater resort? I come to you and teach the whole group, so there's something to do besides the pool. I recently taught a company from New Orleans at their retreat here.

In person

I bring tiles, racks and teaching materials for every table, anywhere around St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay.

On Zoom

Everyone joins from their own desk with their own set, and I teach on camera. I've taught company teams this way, and I bring the plan.

An ongoing program

Weekly classes and open play for your members or community, like the programs I run with my venue partners.

Pricing: every event is quoted for the group. Send me the date and headcount and I'll come back with a plan and a price.

Want something else, or something different? I can customize the scope and the price for your team. Tell me what you have in mind.

Questions about corporate mahjong.

Does anyone need to know how to play?

No. I start from zero, and most groups do too.

Can we do it on Zoom?

Yes. Each person needs an American mahjong set, and I'll send a short list of what to get before the event.

Where do in-person events happen?

At your office, a venue you choose, or a partner venue I recommend, anywhere around St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay.

Can you come to our resort or hotel?

Yes. I teach at resorts and hotels around St. Pete and Clearwater. Tell me where you're staying and I'll bring everything.

How many people can you host?

Tell me the headcount and I'll plan the tables to fit.

Can this become a regular thing?

Yes. Some partners start with one event and end up with weekly classes and open play.
