What is the league?
A friendly six-week race that lives inside the Tile Tally app. You log your wins, climb the boards, and the leaders take the titles.
01
Play on your own schedule
Post a game or grab an open seat in the app. Daytime, evenings, weekends. No assigned match times, ever.
02
Any in-person game counts
Two, three, or four at the table, even when you're the only league player there. Just log it like always.
03
Climb five boards
Your best three games a day count and climb five boards, split Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced. Top one and you're a champion.
Five boards. Ten champions.
Most hands won
Most games logged
Best single hand
Most of the card
Most points
Each board is split into Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced, so ten players take a title every season, and one player can win more than one.
Champions get the title, a badge in the app, their name on the Champions page, an invite to the end-of-season celebration, and a place in the year-end Champions Circle.
What makes the Tile Tally League different
✔ No four-player requirement
Any in-person game counts, even when you're the only league player at the table. It bends around your life.
✔ Ten champions, not one
Five boards across two divisions, so lots of players get their moment.
✔ A low $20 season
Priced for filling tables and building community, not a big buy-in.
✔ Built into the free app
It lives inside the Tile Tally app you already use, with scores that update automatically. No separate portal to manage.

PLAYING AND SCHEDULING
-
Not at all. The whole point is flexibility. You play on your own schedule, and there are no assigned match times to make.
-
No. Any in-person game counts, even when you're the only league player sitting there. Just log your wins.
-
No. You choose where and when you play, at home, a friend's, a café, wherever suits your table.
-
Not at all. You can play at anyone's table, and whoever hosts brings the set. The app just needs your scores, not your tiles.
-
Yes, play as much as you like. Only your best three games each day count toward the boards.
RULES & THE CARD
-
The current NMJL card only.
-
Yes, standard NMJL rules, the same play you already know.
-
No. The league is in-person only.
SCORING AND THE BOARDS
-
You log your wins in the app. Your best three games each day count and climb five boards, split Beginner and Advanced. One player can top more than one board.
-
Most hands won, Most games logged, Best single hand, Most of the card, and Most points.
-
A wall game (no winner) earns you 10 points, which count toward the Most points board. Log it under "I just played."
-
No minimum, play as much or as little as your schedule allows. There's no hard maximum either, but only your best three games each day count toward the boards, so a marathon day won't out-muscle the field.
-
The title, a champion's badge in the app, your name on the Champions page, an invite to the end-of-season celebration, and a place in the year-end Champions Circle. There are no cash prizes.
