A mahjong party is a private lesson built around your celebration. I bring the tiles, racks and cards, teach your group American mahjong, and you finish the night playing a game together. It works for showers, birthdays, retirements and girls' night.

Pick a date and a place.
Your home, a clubhouse, or a private room at a restaurant.

I bring everything.
Tiles, racks, mats and teaching materials. You bring the guests, plus a chair for every player and table space to play.

We learn, then we play.
About an hour of teaching, then guided play, so everyone sits down to a real game.

Does anyone need to know how to play?
No. Most party groups start from zero, and that's the fun of it.
Do we need our own sets?
No. I bring a set for every table.
Can we eat and drink while we play?
Yes. Just keep the tiles a safe distance from the guacamole.
How far do you travel?
Around St. Petersburg and across Tampa Bay. The $35 travel fee covers the drive.
What if the group is bigger than 10?
Groups of 10 or more pay $85 a person. Tell me the headcount and I'll plan the tables.
Can I give a party as a gift?
Yes. Gift cards work for Mahjong private lessons, parties included.
