Any order you like. Start where you feel weakest, or start where you are curious. The card does not care which room you enter first.
Counts for any way you play. A four-player game at your table counts; a game on I Love Mahj counts too, whether it is a full four or a two-player Siamese hand. (New to online play? My I Love Mahj link gives you three weeks free.) SoloMahj counts as well… you build it, you count it.
