Solitaire Mahjong Practice

$7.99

A printable practice tool for Charleston, courtesy pass, and playing Mahjong

The foursome falls through. Or the foursome was never going to happen this week. The good news: that's practice time.

This is your solitaire practice board for the days between live games. Two pages, one printable PDF, designed to put the tiles back in your hand and the real Charleston decisions back in front of you.

Online play is one-dimensional. You see the tiles, you click on them, but you never feel them or move them through the Charleston the way you would at a real table. This sheet brings the table back so that when the live game arrives, you arrive sharp.

What this is

A session: draw 13, run the Charleston using the board, take the courtesy pass, then empty the board back into the bag for play. You have 25 turns to make a winning hand off your card. That last turn is the whole game.

What's inside

  • Page one: a 24-cell practice board for the full Charleston sequence, the courtesy pass, and the play phase that follows. Cells are labeled R, O, L, and 1-2-3 for clarity, with gold asterisks marking the rows where a blind pass is optional.

  • Page two: the rules, written clean. Setup, both Charlestons, the courtesy pass, the play phase, and the 25th turn that decides whether you've won.

Who this is for

You already know how to play. You took a lesson, or you've been at the table enough to handle the Charleston and read the card. What you don't always have is three other women on standby.

This sheet doesn't teach you Mahjong. It keeps you ready to play it when the next foursome lands.

The details

One PDF, two pages, US letter landscape, color printing is optional. Instant digital download after checkout. You'll need the current NMJL card and your own Mahjong tiles; a rack is optional.

Digital delivery only. Because this is a downloadable product, all sales are final. No returns or refunds.

One more thing

Hot tip from Gaia: take it to your local print shop and have them laminate it. The NMJL card changes every spring; this sheet doesn't. It's quietly the most durable thing in your Mahjong kit.
